2) What personal data we collect
A) Data you provide
- Support enquiries (contact form/email): name (if provided), email address, and message content.
- Newsletter sign-up: email address (and any preferences you choose to provide).
B) Test and result data (stored on our servers)
- IQ test data: your answers, result/score, and related test metadata (such as timestamp and test version).
We store results to provide the Service, operate the site, and for integrity and analysis (see Section 4 and Section 6).
C) Technical data and logs
- Server logs and security data: IP address, device/browser information, pages accessed, time and date of access, referrer/URL, and similar diagnostic/security data.
D) Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies (including pixels/tags) for:
- essential site functionality,
- analytics,
- advertising and remarketing,
- embedded third-party content (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, other social platforms).

3) If you don’t provide data
- You can use much of the Service without providing name/email.
- If you don’t provide an email address, you cannot receive newsletters or contact support through the form.
- If you refuse non-essential cookies, you can still use the Service, but analytics, personalised ads/remarketing, and some embedded content features may be limited.
4) How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- Provide the Service (run the IQ test, calculate and display results, maintain functionality).
- Store results (so we can operate the Service, support integrity checks, and improve the test experience).
- Provide support (respond to enquiries and troubleshoot issues).
- Keep the Service secure (detect abuse, prevent fraud, protect systems, maintain logs).
- Measure and improve performance (analytics, error monitoring, aggregated reporting).
- Advertising and monetisation (Google ads, Meta pixel, remarketing, affiliate tracking where applicable).
- Send newsletters (including occasional promotional content if you have opted in).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

7) Who we share data with

- Hosting + CDN: WPX (Bulgaria; cloud-based infrastructure)
- Analytics: Google Analytics
- Advertising/remarketing: Google Ads, Meta (Pixel/remarketing)
- Email/newsletter provider: Mailerlite
- Other vendors used for security, site performance, or communications (as applicable)
These providers process data under contractual terms and only as needed to provide their services.
Third parties (controllers) in advertising ecosystems
When advertising/remarketing is enabled by consent, Google and Meta may process certain data for their own purposes (as described in their policies). You can control these through our cookie settings and your ad-platform preferences.
Legal and safety disclosures
We may disclose data if required to comply with the law, enforce our rights, protect users, or prevent misuse/fraud.
Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
8) International transfers
Your data may be processed in Slovenia and in other countries where our providers operate (including, for example, where major technology providers run global infrastructure). 9) How long we keep data (retention)
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes described:
- IQ test results and related data: 1 year
- IP logs/server security logs: 1 month
- Support enquiries (contact form/email): 1 month
- Analytics data: stored indefinitely unless deleted (we recommend setting and periodically reviewing retention within analytics tools)
- Newsletter data: kept until you unsubscribe or we delete inactive records in line with our retention practices.
We may keep certain data longer if required to comply with the law or handle disputes.
10) Marketing emails (newsletter)
If you sign up, we may send newsletters that can include updates and occasional promotional material.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. Unsubscribing will stop marketing emails, but we may still send important service/admin messages if necessary.
11) Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable laws (UK GDPR / EU GDPR), you may have rights including:
- access to your personal data,
- correction,
- deletion (in certain cases),
- restriction,
- objection (including to certain legitimate-interest processing),
- data portability (in certain cases),

12) Children and teen users
The Service is intended primarily for users aged 18+, but it may also be used by teens. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in a way that would require parental consent under applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal data (for example, by signing up to the newsletter), contact us, and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13) Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
